Gail and Cy Glickman
I grew up in a dancing environment.  My parents went to Roseland in New York and taught me to ballroom dance at an early age.  Cy took a couple of lessons when we met but mostly "faked" the dancing and let me do "my thing" when we danced together.  He never really learned how to do the rhythm dances correctly nor how to do any of the smooth dances.  I longed to be able to dance more with him.  When we started with Richard we clicked right away.  Maybe it had something to do with the fact that we had the same last name but we're not related and had never met before.  But most likely it was because Richard knows exactly how to make it clear to Cy how to do each of the dances.  He is patient and explicit, making our lessons a joy and a great learning experience for both of us.  Richard knows how to explain the nuances of the dances to each of us differently, in a way that each of us can understand on our level.  He has a gift for knowing exactly what to say in a way that helps us improve and encourages us to reach our goals.  It is such a pleasure to take dance with Richard.
